Imperial Dade, a leading distributor of food service and janitorial supplies, recently announced the acquisition of Philip Rosenau Co., Inc.
Headquartered in Warminster, PA, Philip Rosenau Co. is a family-owned and operated wholesale distribution business providing janitorial, sanitation, packaging and foodservice products to customers across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
“We go back a long way with the Rosenaus. We have always had the utmost respect for their company,” noted Imperial Dade president Jason Tillis. “We love the market they serve and the reputation they have. So when this opportunity came up, we were very excited to do it.”
The combination of the two companies will further extend Imperial Dade’s reach into key Northeast markets and enhance the company’s offering to customers in the region. It is the 24th acquisition for Imperial Dade under the leadership of Robert and Jason Tillis, CEO and President of Imperial Dade, respectively. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“This is a perfect fit for us with our large facility in Jersey City, another in Bordentown in South Jersey and we will continue to utilize the Rosenau facility,” Tillis continued. “We are lucky that we have a number of facilities in the Northeast so that we can optimize our ability to serve our growing customer base.”
