Join Total Food Service and L. Sashin & Associates on February 7 at 9:00am ET for Virtual Breakfast Session #54: Class of 2023 VBS Hall of Fame Inductions.

Since the formation of the partnership between Total Food Service and L. Sashin and Associates to co-produce the Virtual Breakfast Sessions back in June of 2020 there have been many people who have sat on the roundtable and shared their knowledge, experiences, and insights as to what hospitality and foodservice is and what can be.

The topics have been varied, from moral principles, to personnel, to “Pot”, but there has been one thing that is constant…busy people willing to give their time to help others get through both common and unique problems in our industry.

And then there’s our secret weapon, our audience and their participation in our events. It’s their questions, insights and quips that have been the cattle prod that has driven our sessions and help us attain importance.

There are so many people to thank, but 3 people who rose to the top of our VBS tidal pool of knowledge, who were there for us any time the need arose.

Two of them are recognizable to anyone who’s watched or listened to the VBS and one whose work behind the scenes was critical to us getting off on the right foot. Those 3 are:

1. Joyce Appelman – SCOOP Editor and Senior Contributing Writer for TFS and previously National Communications Director of C-CAP, Careers through Culinary Arts Program.

2. Peter Herrero, Jr. – President of the NY Hospitality Group, Proprietor of Sam’s of Gedney Way and always the 1st person to volunteer.

3. Yvan Lemoine – Chef/Founder at Akin Hospitality

The Virtual Breakfast Sessions (VBS) are produced by Total Food Service and L. Sashin & Associates. They are part of a series of Zoom, interactive roundtable discussions based on Hospitality, Foodservice and the chain of businesses that service the industry.

Using Zoom’s Chat feature the audience has direct contact with a designated panel member who will direct all pertinent questions or statements to the panel for consideration and response. We look forward to your participation.
