It’s come to my attention that almost everyone that I speak to sounds more and more like my Grandpa Morris. No, people haven’t picked up his Yiddish/ Russian accent, but I remember him saying things like, “When I was a boy this used to cost…!”. $5 gas, sky high utilities, $20 skirt steak, a jacked-up payroll…everything is going up in price. Everything except what you can successfully charge for a meal. Grandpa Morris and everyone I know would agree, “A dollar doesn’t go as far it used to.”
