Join Total Food Service and L. Sashin & Associates on August 9th at 9:00am ET for Virtual Breakfast Session #44: Coffee With… David Burke.
Anyone can go to Google and see that David Burke was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Hazlet, NJ. That he attended the Culinary Institute of America and the Culinary Institute of Lenotre in Plaisir, France. He worked for and with George Blanc, Marc Meneau, Daniel Boulud, Charlie Palmer and Waldy Malouf. He hit the crosshairs of the public by attaining a 3 Star rating by the NY Times for his work at “The River Café” and won culinary award after culinary award by the age of 26. But how did he get there?
What makes Chef Burke tick? How and why did he decide to cook and become a highly successful Chef and Restauranteur? In a culinary world that wants to be in NYC, why does he continue to open in “The Burbs”? Like all artists it’s easy to see what he does, but both the path and the process is not so clear.
Join us on August 8th at 9:00 am Eastern at the VBS while Chef Burke takes us through a guided tour through the artistic/business maze that he calls “Me”. BTW, if you have a question, here’s your chance to ask. Pertinent questions asked through the chat feature on Zoom will be answered or addressed in “Realtime”. We look forward to your attendance and participation. Register now. Tickets are free for this podcast, but availability is limited. Your cost is an hour, what you get in return can be immeasurable.
