A recent report marveled over how a search on Instagram for the hashtag #ramen results in 7.4 million posts with food pictures and videos of people eating the delicious noodles. So it’s not surprising that the latest ramen incarnations are popping up in New Jersey as popular ramen concept Ani Ramen House recently launched their third and fourth NJ locations.
Ani Ramen’s third location is now open in the heart of Summit, NJ at 427 Springfield Avenue. The Summit location houses a 2,000 square ft, 85 seat restaurant, featuring a small outpost of Luigi’s Ice Cream, the second edition of this collaborative union will open in April, and offer guests an internal dessert option. Like the Montclair and the Jersey City locations, Summit will offer craft ramen featuring their signature noodles, meticulously created by Sun Noodle. Ani Summit will also offer their thoughtfully, approachable, izakaya small plates, most notably, shrimp buns, handmade crispy gyoza, and glazed chicken wings. Lunch and dinner will be served daily at this BYOB dining destination.
Simultaneously, Ani Ramen will also be launching their first fast casual location at Harborside (downtown, waterfront area of Jersey City), which will house the new food hall concept, District Kitchen. Mack-Cali Realty Corporation has spearheaded the development, bringing 13 new culinary experiences to the Atrium located on the ground level of 210 Hudson Street. Ani will be offering a selection of favorites, featuring their signature ramen, a selection of rice bowls and bao buns, and a bevy of traditional izakaya small plates.
The Summit location’s design was again spearheaded by pixelexperience, and again the space is adorned by mural artwork courtesy of acclaimed artist Rich Tu, a Nike ex pat who currently functions in a VP role at MTV, and is a proud New Jersey native.
