Imperial Dade, a leading distributor of food service packaging and janitorial supplies, recently announced the acquisition of Empire Distributors (“Empire” or the “Company”). The transaction represents the 40th acquisition for Imperial Dade under the leadership of Robert and Jason Tillis, CEO and President of Imperial Dade, respectively. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
Headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Empire is a leading distributor of industrial packaging and janitorial supplies founded by Eric Dryden. Together, the Imperial Dade platform will operate 91 distribution centers across the country and solidify its position as the national leader in specialty distribution. The addition of Empire’s locations in the greater LA market will strengthen Imperial Dade’s existing presence in southern California.
