Chef Gerard Bertholon To Present The Future of Plant-Based
at Taste of Travel Session


Cuisine Solutions, the world’s largest sous vide manufacturer, and pioneer of the method, will be exhibiting at stand 4E10 at the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services EXPO (WTCE) this June 6-8.

The renowned international team of award-winning chefs led by Chef Gerard Bertholon, the company’s Chief Strategy Officer, will showcase options at WTCE in on-board dining as well as buy-on-board snacks and lounge meals. Buy-on-board snack selections will include savory and sweet portable options such as JUST Mexico Baked Bites, Closed Burgers, 5 Cheese Pasta Bake, Egg Wellington and Boba Bites with flavors like Ginger and Mocha Coconut.

Lounge meal options will highlight Baked Vegetable Frittata’s with everything seasoning and Coconut Chia Oatmeal with a berry coulis and coconut chips. While the on-board dining tasting menu Cuisine Solutions will feature Steamed Bao Buns with pork belly, marinated cucumber and candied cashews topped with Asian BBQ sauce, and Plant-Based Meatballs with Thai Green Curry sauce.

On June 7th, Chef Bertholon will present at WTCE’s Taste of Travel from 11am – 11:45am. Attendees can join him for a discussion on The Future of Plant-Based, where he will speak beyond the staple protein preparations. He will cover everything from plant-based shrimp and lamb as well as discuss why F&B teams are exclusively on the hunt for products with clean labels, all while highlighting the latest revolutions in this growing food space. For the presentation, Bertholon will be sampling Plant-Based Chicken with Thai Curry over jasmine rice.
