Chef Adrianne Calvo, Executive Chef and Owner of Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant & Wine Bar in Miami, FL, is joining the team of star chefs at the 31st Annual Chefs’ Tribute to Citymeals on Wheels to create Latin-inspired dishes for more than 1,000 guests. The event, which takes place at the Rockefeller Center on June 6th, 2016 at 7:30pm, celebrates Latino Cuisine & Culture while raising money to charity. The evening’s dazzling team will also include founding chefs Larry Forgione, Alfred Portale, Wolfgang Puck, Stephan Pyles, and Jimmy Schmidt.

A Leading Miami Chef, Restaurateur, Cookbook Author and Television Personality, Chef Adrianne is one busy Floridian. Her restaurant Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant & Wine Bar has been included in Yelp’s top 50 local, non-chain Miami eateries. It has also been named the Best Miami Restaurant in 2013 by Miami Magazine and Urban Spoon. Chef Adrianne’s bold and brilliantly brazen “Maximum Flavor” concept has grown her restaurant into a Miami destination dining must. The restaurant is not defined by a certain cuisine but rather showcases a burst of flavors in perfect harmony. Some of Chef Adrienne’s signature dishes include her Shrimp Tamalito, her Brontosaurus Rib, and the perfectly balanced Burrata and Prosciutto dish.

Chef Adrianne has also recently been chosen as USA delegate for Slow Food’s Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2016 taking place on September 22nd, 2016 in Turin, Italy. The Slow Food organization and Salone del Gusto event aim to bring awareness on the importance of sustainably and responsibly building food communities, featuring farmers, chefs, and other food experts from all over the world.

Chef Adrianne has written four cookbooks and is featured on NBC “6 in the Mix” every Thursday as the Panda Kitchen Ambassador and guest chef. She discovered her passion for cooking in high school when she due to an administrational slipup accidentally got a cooking class on her schedule. Having spent much of her youth in the kitchen with her Cuban-born mother, familiarizing herself with the endless combinations of flavors, the high school cooking class initiated her journey toward becoming Executive Chef Adrianne. Stay tuned for this busy 32-year old’s next moves on the culinary scene.
