This event will feature more than 50 culinary students working closely with some of New York's premier industry professionals as they prepare to unveil the latest trends and flavors in food and wine.
The Global Food & Wine Experience complements the annual BCAGlobal Cultural Awareness Salute as another opportunity to advance diversity in the highest ranks of the culinary and beverage industry. At this event, aspiring culinary and beverage professionals learn about the industry; established restaurateurs, sommeliers, and importers network and display their achievements at sampling stations throughout the luxury venue.
This year Reginald W. Idlett will be presented with the BCAGlobal Vision in Wine Award given to individuals in recognition for their dedication to building awareness, appreciation, and creating exposure for people of color to provide a higher level of understanding for the culture of wines.
