The 3rdAnnual Greenwich Restaurant Week begins on November 11th, 2016. Â More than 30 local restaurants are participating and offering special deals and promotions throughout the 10 day celebration!
We encourage friends, family, and colleagues from Greenwich, our surrounding towns, and NYC to dine out and book parties all week long. Greenwich Restaurant Week 2016 follows the success of recent Moffly Media signature events such as the Best of the Gold Coast and the Best of Greenwich, making this a week you do not want to miss!
The festivities for this annual foodie event kick off on Thursday, November 10th with an exclusive Opening Night Cocktail Party at The J House from 6-9 p.m. The party will set the stage for a full week of culinary adventure all across town! Sample a variety of tasty tapas and light bites, sip creative cocktails by local mixologists and rub elbows with top Greenwich chefs. Event will feature celebrity appearance by Geoffrey Zakarian, Food Network Star from Top Chef and The Kitchen signing his brand new cookbook My Perfect Pantry.
Join Kathie Lee Gifford as she showcases her GIFFT wines with Chef Conor by pairing with some of JHouse signature dishes. Don’t miss Mercedes-Benz Greenwich raffling a new model Mercedes for a weekend to start your restaurant adventures in style. Dance the night away with DJ Kunjan who will be mixing his latest beats and keeping the house rockin’. Plus, there will be over 20 participating restaurant and beverage sponsors!
Tickets must be purchased in advance and a portion of the proceeds from tickets sales will benefit The Transportation Association of Greenwich (TAG), an organization geared towards providing transportation services for elderly individuals and the disadvantaged of all ages.
Starting Friday, November 11th, diners can chart a course for a 10-day tasting tour of more than 30 restaurants throughout Greenwich. Top chefs will be rolling out the red carpet with prix-fix lunch and dinner menus, and diners will be reaping the spoils of special wine flights, signature drinks, desserts, and other enticements.
Be sure to make reservations in advance directly with the restaurant due to the high demand of dining out at the participating locations during Greenwich Restaurant Week. Come celebrate life, good food and cocktails, as well as several events still to come that we will announce as the week comes closer. This is the perfect time to visit a few of the restaurants on your bucket list, while the venues are in celebratory mode.
