Best New Products Announced At International Restaurant & Foodservice Show Of New York


Thousands of new products and services for restaurants, caterers and foodservice establishments were introduced during this week’s International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. Several Awards were presented including:

The Overall Winner in the Innovative New Product Gallery was The Catering Box for The CATERING BOX SIDE BAR, a safe and professional way to transport soups, sauces, dressings, toppings & accompaniments.

The 1st Place Runner Up was Allies GF Goodies for their homemade gluten free products. All of Allies products are Certified Gluten free, Certified Pareve Kosher, Dedicated nut free, peanut free, sesame free, coconut free baking company.

The 2nd Place Runner Up was Heat Chef Apparel for their innovated chef jackets, a new interpretation of yesterday’s culinary apparel which bridge the gap between style and functionality.

Best New Product in the Food Trends Experience was Padilla Imports for their Chile Habanero Hot Sauce. For over 30 years Padilla Import, Sales & Marketing Company has focused on authentic Hispanic brands making it available for the independent grocery retailers/bodegas and consumers in the US Market.

Best in Show for Pitch the Press: Editors from several leading industry publications including Restaurant Management, Tabletop Journal, Dessert Professional, Total Foodservice and Catering Magazine identified 18 innovative new products that were presented to the media and buyers. The best new product in the Pitch the Press program was presented to Farm2Table for their Hudson Valley Farms App, a simple, efficient, direct providing food distribution logistics while connecting wholesale buyers directly with farmers.


The 23rd Annual International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York brought together thousands of foodservice, restaurant and hospitality professionals from New York State, and featured more than 470 leading vendors, the Ferdinand Metz Foodservice Forum education sessions and buzz building special events. This is the only event in New York exclusively serving the restaurant and foodservice industry, sponsored by the New York State Restaurant Association (NYSRA) and produced by Urban Expositions.
